The warm-up should gently prepare the body for exercises by gradually increasing the heart rate and circulation; this will loosen the joints and increase blood flow to the muscles. Stretching the muscles prepares them for physical activity and prevents injuries. Please click the appropriate link below and follow your warm-up routine.

Helps improve your skills!!!!!!!
The reason we should practice is pretty obvious. Practice helps improve skills and make you better at what you do. If you routinely practice a certain skill, you will get good at it. It is important to remember that when we are practicing a new skill or even an old skill that we do our best to practice that skill the right way. Often times when we are first learning a skill, performing that skill may seem uncomfortable or too difficult. Just remember if you keep practicing, you will improve. Good practice leads to good habits. Try your BEST and have FUN. |
This week we are focusing our attention on STRIKING. There are many ways we can practice STRIKING From striking a baseball off a tee, to taking a slap shot in hockey, to driving the golf ball to the hole, to hitting a tennis ball over the net, we want ALL of our students to become proficient in the skill of STRIKING. This week we would like you to use what you have available to practice STRIKING.
