If we were at school we would be working on striking with a long instrument..i.e. baseball bat. Younger students would be learning hand and foot placement and hitting off of tee or pylon. Older/more advanced students would be working on hand and foot placement, weight transfer and follow through.

No Equipment No Problem!!!!
There are plenty of ways to practice any of these skills with little to no equipment.
First let me recommend asking a friend for any equipment. A lot of people have equipment just laying around collecting dust.
Second, the dollar store offers a very low cost opportunity. These are items you could use strictly for practice.
***Finally, the BEST option...Use your creativity. I cannot pick up a roll of wrapping paper without using it as a sword or a baseball bat. Use the wrapping paper to make several paper balls and use the tube to hit the paper ball***
Or using an empty paper towel roll to play tennis with a balloon. Talk about family fun! Whenever we have fun we forget were actually working and it is very enjoyable experience.
Yard stick golf club with paper golf ball.
Again, the idea is just to practice and have fun. My son and I turn everything into a competition and we have a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy this weeks practice and exercise. Do your best and have fun. If you are unable to practice this week, no sweat, we will get it sooner or later.
